The place was modest and had pleasant and very welcoming staff from the owners to the housekeepers, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I asked for standard room and it was spotlessly clean and airy with a view. The location was great for walking around a ruined 11th-century Norman fortress. The area was good just next door to Right near car park, and local shops.

I really enjoyed the Victorian-style building, a nice size and well furnished room. The hotel had a central position short walk to old town and train station, beach, shops and plenty of restaurants, and the centre. I checked out underground tunnels, that was set within a close distance from the property.

A view of the beach from our window. We stayed near to many city attractions and within 10 mins on foot from hastings pier. 20 minutes' by foot to train station. We really enjoyed the fact that we chose alexanders
